Organizational Growth
Synergy for Justice collaborates with the Syrian women-led organization Amal Center for Healing and Advocacy (AHAC) on programs for female refugees in Turkey. Their programs focus on protection, GBV, awareness raising as well as legal assistance. AHAC is a grassroots organization with a small portfolio, but eager to grow programs and outreach.
Triple Nexus
Funded by the EU, Caritas Czech Republic and Violet are implementing a civil society program in Northwest Syria to strengthen community-based organizations to build up their own humanitarian response team based on a principled, grassroot approach. The project combines humanitarian, development and peace programming to enhance its sustainability.
Funding Strategy
The Syrian search & rescue organization White Helmets are transitioning from Chemonics significant support in facilitating funding to becoming a prime contractor for institutional donors. The four-year funding strategy will guide the team in successfully managing the transition and to continue growing the organization.
Shifting Power
The shifting power project, led by Save the Children Sweden, contributes to reducing power imbalances in cluster mechanisms by strengthening localization in humanitarian coordination. The project is funded by SIDA and UNICEF in partnership with the global nutrition, child protection, education and WASH clusters.
