Service Description.
We work with national and international organizations to identify and develop capacity strengthening measures that ultimately lead to access to funding. Those measures differ for each organization depending on their organizational goals, strategy and capacity. But also depend on individual staff, their responsibility and ability to institutionalize the capacity strengthening. We draw back on different approaches and resources to find tailored solutions that drive change (and are cost-effective).
As first step, led by the organization we gain an overview of strength and weaknesses through an in-depth capacity assessment, which will guide future actions.
Based on the assessment, we will together identify areas of improvement and set a clear, actionable plan to address those gaps.
Capacity strengthening is connected to engaging consultant, systems, trainings and so on. As this is costly and budgets are limited, we will prioritize actions that are a first steppingstone and affordable to NNGOs.
Jointly we will start implementing the priority actions: i.e. we develop together an improved procurement policy and ensure it’s operationalized, which will help the organization to score higher in due diligence processes to access funding or partnerships.
