Program Implementation & Capacity Strengthening

The shifting power project, led by Save the Children Sweden, contributes to reducing power imbalances in cluster mechanisms by strengthening localization in humanitarian coordination. The project is funded by SIDA and UNICEF in partnership with the global nutrition, child protection, education and WASH clusters.

Assignment

Katharina and Alaa have been contracted by Save the Children Sweden to design the methodology and manage the roll out of the 10-months pilot project in South Sudan, Nigeria and Somalia.

Localization Agenda

With this project, we actively contribute to the localization agenda in the three selected countries by bringing a resource package and starting the conversation on key topics such as gender-balanced representation, leadership of local organizations and participation in processes such as HRP and HNO.
