Fundraising & Program Design
We advice on funding or advocacy initiatives and coach the development of successful funding proposals and institutional donor outreach.
Research & Advocacy
We conduct research, assessments and advocacy papers that listen to and amplify local perspectives and voices from crisis-affected communities.
Program Implementation
We implement localization initiatives on behalf of humanitarian actors including design, methodology and management through participatory approaches.
Capacity Strengthening
We work with national and international organizations to identify and develop capacity strengthening measures that ultimately lead to access to funding.
The Power to Lead
The humanitarian leader is an independent and bold voice for people working in the aid system. It provides a platform for humanitarian professionals to test ideas and insights gained in the field in an academic setting.
Youth’s Voices
Violet’s community resilience program strives from it’s male and female volunteers that dedicate their spare time to contribute to the community’s development. The report was initiated under a BMZ-funded program in partnership with GIZ to reflect on the needs of young people in correlation with Violet’s youth empowerment program.
Proposal Writing Training
Following our strategy assignment, we had the chance to extend our work with Synergy for Justice and AHAC to support them in submitting their first proposal to a UN agency from design thinking until the final submission.
Organizational Growth
Synergy for Justice collaborates with the Syrian women-led organization Amal Center for Healing and Advocacy (AHAC) on programs for female refugees in Turkey. Their programs focus on protection, GBV, awareness raising as well as legal assistance. AHAC is a grassroots organization with a small portfolio, but eager to grow programs and outreach.
Triple Nexus
Funded by the EU, Caritas Czech Republic and Violet are implementing a civil society program in Northwest Syria to strengthen community-based organizations to build up their own humanitarian response team based on a principled, grassroot approach. The project combines humanitarian, development and peace programming to enhance its sustainability.
Idleb under Fire
Amidst Syria’s largest displacement in history, the local organization Violet took a moment to step back and reflect the locally-led, community-rooted response to a) braced itself for the upcoming months of response with lessons learned at hand and b) evidence-based recommendations for funding and advocacy.
